Tope are great sporting fish and can often be found just a few miles just offshore.
They are a protected protected species and all Tope are returned safely.
They can grow upto 6 feet and upto 100 lbs, but the ones we catch tend to be smaller upto 30 lbs.
Tope is a slim yet very powerful member of the shark family, and are very powerful. They are a highly prized species by anglers because of their fighting power.
Tackle needs to be strong using either 100+ lbs mono trace oir a steel-wire trace.
Strips of mackerel, mackerel heads of mackerel flappers are all great baits to target tope.
