Fishing Trips

Silver Gannet operates out of Poole’s large natural harbour, and can take you to the best fishing marks along the Dorset coastline. We also offer trips to experience Turbot & Brill fishing drifting the famous Shambles bank a few miles off Portland Bill.

The types of fish we catch are Pollock, Bream, Mackerel, Plaice, Conger, Ling, Turbot, Brill, Bass, Dogfish, Pouting, Rays, Pouting, Dogfish, Garfish, Trigger Fish, Gurnard in the Summer months. Winter Cod and Whiting.

Poole is Europe’s largest natural harbour and a stunning location for all types of watersports fringed with unspoilt woodland and coastal walks. The harbour is a site of nature conservation, a wetland teeming with wading birds with many international protections in place.
